Good News Mt. Pleasant School District Residents, you're #InAtMid!
In May of 2021, voters passed two proposals that allowed the Mt. Pleasant School District to join Beaverton, Clare, Farwell, Gladwin, and Harrison as part of Mid's in-district service area.
This means you'll now experience lower tuition rates, while continuing to enjoy the personal service and educational opportunities that Mid offers.
For example, during the 2021-2022 academic year, tuition will be 40% lower for students living in the Mt. Pleasant School District, from $229/contact hour to $137/contact hour. Full-time students taking 30 contact hours a year will pay $2,760 less than they were previously.
Annexation to the College's district also allows residents to run for election to the College's Board of Trustees, giving the district a voice within the College's governing body.
