Beginning with the Fall 2026 semester, Michigan Reconnect is expanding to eligible Michigan residents ages 21 and older. Students 25 and older can apply now, while applications for students ages 21–24 are expected to open in mid- to late August.

Community College Guarantee

Now is the time! Mid is the place! Earn your degree tuition free! The Community College Guarantee provides a tuition-free path for in-district students, significant financial assistance for out-district students, and an additional $1,000 for students who qualify to cover textbook and transportation costs.
