Long Distance Calling
- To make a long-distance call you need a long-distance PIN code. Submit a Help Desk ticket and cc your supervisor including a phone account number.
Logging In & Logging Out
Use the steps below to log into a phone using the Hot Desk Feature on Mitel 69XX.
- Press the Hot Desk button visible within the grey banner of the LCD screen. The display will read Locked and Enter Extension.
- Dial your extension number on the dial pad, XXXX. The display will read the digits you dial.
- Press the Enter button now visible within the grey banner of the LCD screen. The display will read Locked and Enter PIN.
- Dial your mailbox PIN XXXXX on the dial pad. The display will read an asterisk for every PIN character entered.
- Press Enter again visible within the grey banner of the LCD screen. The screen should read Login Completed, for a few seconds, then your phone should now take on all of the characteristics of the extension number you logged in as.
Logging Out of a Phone
- Press the Logout button visible within the grey banner. The display will read Current Extension XXXX, where XXXX is the extension number currently logged in.
- Press the Logout button again, which is visible within the grey banner. The screen will read Logout Completed for a few seconds, then Locked. The phone will now be ready for a new Login procedure.
