Medical Assistants provide both clinical and administrative support to doctors and other health care professionals.
The Medical Assistant Program will become a selective admissions program with limited seats in Fall 2017.
The Mid Michigan Community College Medical Assistant Program offers students the opportunity to become certified through the National Examination administered by the American Association of Medical Assistants. This exam is taken while students are in their capstone Medical Assistant course. Successful completion of this certification exam will help MMCC MA Program Graduates enter the healthcare environment with confidence and competence in the skills necessary to become effective health care providers.
