Supervisory Skills Training
This Supervisory Skills training course introduces important topics for new and experienced supervisors. It teaches how to effectively communicate, successfully discipline employees, resolve conflicts, make decisions, manage time, delegate properly, conduct meetings, motivate employees, implement teams, orient new employees, and prevent accidents.

Meet your Instructor
Don Schuster was Executive Director of Listening Ear for 25 years; grown from two employees to over 350, offering numerous human service programs.
Don has a Master’s Degree in Social Work Administration from the University of Michigan. His area of interest at U of M was leadership of complex organizations. Mr. Schuster has also been a leadership consultant for over two decades working in the field of team building, supervision, conflict management, strategic planning, personal communication styles and time management.
He is an associate professor at Michigan State and an instructor with Mid Michigan College’s Technical Education Centers, specializing in leadership. He has consulted in hundreds of businesses and organizations, including non-profit organizations, manufacturing, and the service industry.
