In this session you analyze your communication style, identify your tendencies, and learn how to communicate in a way so that people truly hear your message. Then analyze your ability to listen. Listening is a severely overlooked leadership skill. This training explores your current listening habits and helps you identify and practice using new strategies to better connect when listening.

From identifying opportunities to delegating meaningful tasks, and from matching people to responsibilities and having a solid strategy for success in place, this training prepares you to delegate with direction.

This training uses Daniel Goleman’s framework and four domains of emotional intelligence: self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, and relationship management.

• Learn about the anatomy of an emotion and how emotions and thoughts work together to influence behaviors
• Understand the link between emotional intelligence and success in life
• Discern the difference between automatic limbic decisions and intentional, conscious decisions
• Discover when automatic processes serve us well, and when these processes need to be better managed
• Practice agile thinking, increasing self-awareness and intentional thinking
• Leverage due diligence and intuition to make effective decisions
• Develop cognitive and behavioral strategies to manage emotions intelligently
