System Requirements for Online Courses at Mid
Online courses require the use of a personal computer and Internet access. For best results, we recommend the following:
Your online course experience will be greatly enhanced by using a cable modem, DSL, or other high-speed connection. You may certainly access your online courses through a dial-up connection, but we recommend that you also have access from a high-speed location such as Mid's computer labs or your local library. Your local library will provide you with high-speed access to your online course. We cannot emphasize enough how your experience will be dramatically better through a high-speed connection. Many online courses offer multimedia components that may require lengthy downloads.
