About TRIO-SSS Program
In 2015, The Department of Education awarded Mid Michigan College a TRIO-SSS (Student Support Services) Grant. This grant benefits 140 students annually who meet its criteria: first-generation college student, student with a disability, and/or low-income.
Program participants must qualify and be selected. They receive one-on-one and small-group assistance designed to meet their specific needs and support their college completion.
The program provides individual academic pathway planning and expanded career services. It also offers participants access to cultural and learning events and spring tuition funding for those who qualify.
Interested students must apply for selection. All program services are free to TRIO-SSS participants.
