"The Nest" Student Wellness Space
Mt. Pleasant Campus- Doan 116
The Nest is a shared campus space which creates opportunity for non-academic resource access for students in need of assistance with issues like housing, food, mental health, recovery, etc. This space also provides opportunities for interaction across diverse identities through small group discussions/collaborations.
Throughout the Winter semester therapy dogs Kindle & Viper will be available for cuddles to lessen stress in The Nest (Doan 116).
Available in the Nest:
- Campus Cupboard - Food Pantry
- Local Community resource listings
- Small group collaborative space
- Mid Movies (DVD online library) access on all computers
- Small group Lounge & Learn space
If you are a Mid student or staff member who is interested in reserving either the Lounge & Learn space (6 lounge chairs with TV/DVD access) and/or the small-group collaboration space (meeting style table and 8 chairs), please send an email request to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Please note that in order to accommodate as many requests as possible, we limit reservations to 2 hours maximum. If you need to reserve this space for longer than 2 hours for a campus event, please email email@example.com to request approval.
