College Assistance Resources
Wellness at Mid offers several resources, programs, and initiatives to help support our students. (see left menu for full listing.)
Emergency Assistance Application
The Mid Michigan College Foundation's Student Emergency Assistance Fund provides one-time grants to help students cover the costs of unexpected emergency needs that would otherwise prevent students from being able to complete their coursework at Mid. This funding is made available through donations from community members, local businesses, Mid staff, faculty, and alumni.
Due to the amount of financial assistance that will be provided to students through HEERF funds in the Fall 2021 semester distribution, we have temporarily suspended the Student Emergency Assistance Application with plans to reopen it at a later date. Students should receive their HEERF funds around week 4 or 5 of the Fall 2021 semester and financial aid refunds should be distributed to students between weeks 6 and 8.
If you are in need of community resource assistance, contact 2-1-1 from your phone or visit 211nemichigan.org for a list of resources in your area. Another option is to visit Mid's Community Resource page to find regional providers based on your needs.
If you are in need of assistance in locating other resource assistance, contact Amy Goethe, Director of Student Wellness & Equity, at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Mobile HotSpot Loaner Request Application
Mid Michigan College's Student Wellness and Equity team may offer mobile 'HotSpots' to some students based on need. Eligibility is limited. Please complete this form to place your request for consideration.
