Mid is committed to promoting student development by providing opportunities for students to access resources for their needs beyond the classroom.

Mid’s Office of Student Wellness provides campus awareness events and activities, opportunities for students to learn more about their own identity and the identities of others, and programming that empowers students through holistic support.

If you are facing barriers to accessing basic needs, experiencing mental health concerns, or just have questions about community assistance options, Mid’s Office of Student Wellness is here to help.

Tai Chi for Health and Energy A free Mid Wellness offering for students and staff Derived from the Chinese martial arts, Tai Chi is a sequence of slow and fluid movements practiced mindfully. Tai Chi cultivates inner calm, focus, energy, balance, body control, stress relief, flexibility and peace. Many recent scientific studies have confirmed the numerous health benefits of Tai Chi. The movements are easy to learn—in a non-competitive, supportive group setting. No special clothing needed to participate—only low-heeled, stable shoes Questions?
