Mid is committed to promoting student development by providing opportunities for students to access resources for their needs beyond the classroom.

Mid’s Office of Student Wellness provides campus awareness events and activities, opportunities for students to learn more about their own identity and the identities of others, and programming that empowers students through holistic support.

If you are facing barriers to accessing basic needs, experiencing mental health concerns, or just have questions about community assistance options, Mid’s Office of Student Wellness is here to help.

Young Adult Grief Support Group

Mount Pleasant campus- Doan Center room 118

This group is open to Mid students and community members between the ages of 18-24, no registration required. Find some relief, hope, and connection through peer support and others who are grieving the death of a friend, family member, or loved one. This group is hosted by MidMichigan Home Care.

Safe Zone Ally staff training will run from 10am to 3pm (lunch on your own) and will run in LB 178 on our Mount Pleasant campus. The facilitators for this session will be Sallie Butler and Dr. Bud Kanyo. If you are interested in attending on this date, please add your name to this Google Doc.

Mid Votes! Special Lecture- Presidential Primaries

Harrison campus- Room 220

As part of Mid Votes effort to further civic engagement and civil dialogue, this presentation will provide a detailed account of the 2020 Democratic and Republican presidential primaries. Attendees will gain an understanding of the official primary process, how candidates win delegates, and how the two parties formally select their nominee for president. There will be time for Q and A following the presentation.
