The Harrison Campus collection boasts several thousand physical books for your use. The collection includes nonfiction books, reference books, biographies, fiction, paperbacks, records and cassettes, instructional videos, and audio books.
The Mt. Pleasant campus offers a smaller collection of nonfiction titles and reference books. Material can be checked out and returned at both locations.
Library of Congress Classification System
All material housed on the Harrison and Mount Pleasant campuses is cataloged using the Library of Congress classification system. Like the Dewey Decimal system, the LOC system is an alpha-numeric call number that makes it easy to locate books and other materials on the shelves.
An example of an LOC system call number would be DS559.45.H35. Call numbers are located on the spines of the book.

Copyright Information
In recent years there has been a lot of regulations and legislation put in place to prevent and punish any copyright infringement, intentional or otherwise. So it is necessary that you be aware of just what is allowed, and what could result in huge fines and even jail time.
Visit Mid's Copyright Policies for more information on Copyright and and how it affects you as a student and an instructor.

A recent collaboration between the Mid Michigan College Business & Professional Studies Academic Department and the Mid Michigan Small Business Development Center (SBDC) has resulted in a Business Studies Resource area in the library on the Mt. Pleasant Campus of Mid Michigan College. Over 350 books donated by the SBDC and business faculty, as well as new subscriptions to the Wall Street Journal and Harvard Business Review, are just a few of the resources that have been assembled with more materials added often.
