Official Course Description

This course is an introduction to the radiologic technology profession. Also presented are an introduction to the principles of radiographic exposure, digital imaging, and image processing. Practice in the fundamentals of equipment operation and image processing in the Campus x-ray lab provides the basis for developing initial psychomotor skills necessary to function as a radiologic technologist. Prerequisite: Admission to the Program Corequisites: RAD.110 and RAD.113
