Official Course Description

The full time clinical education experience offers students opportunities to observe, assist with and implement treatment techniques which have been introduced in prior lecture and practiced in lab courses. The students are under direct supervision of a clinical instructor (physical therapist or physical therapist assistant) who facilitates learning. Students will be assigned to hospitals, outpatient clinics, nursing and rehabilitation centers, or home care settings for four weeks. Prerequisites:PTA.105, 106, 110, 111, 115, 116 Corequisites: PTA.125, 126, 130, & 131
