This course explores the creative nonfiction genre, including memoir, nature writing, the personal essay, and other subjective literary nonfiction forms. You will read and respond to published works of creative nonfiction. You will draw on your personal experiences and viewpoints to define your writing voice and to generate and revise your own works of creative nonfiction in an interactive classroom setting. Prerequisite: ENG.111 with a minimum grade of C.
