Program Description

This six-week, 120 hour program was designed in conjunction local employers to provide students with skills for entry-level employment in LEAN manufacturing, Inventory Control, Basic Equipment Maintenance, and other manufacturing positions. The program consists of a series of six (6) modules. The program combines classroom instruction with hands-on practice in Mid's labs.

Course Modules include, Manufacturing Shop Safety and Health, Introduction to LEAN Manufacturing Principles, Introduction to Inventory Control Systems and Warehousing, Introduction to Quality Control and Quality Assurance Principles, Introduction to Plastics Manufacturing Process, Introduction to Basic Equipment Maintenance and Troubleshooting.
