Course Description

Immerse yourself in Aromatherapy and discover the wide variety of therapeutic effects it can provide. Aromatherapy uses essential oils derived from plants, roots, flowers, trees, and fruits to bring about physical, mental, emotional, or spiritual balance within people and environments. Aromatherapy can help relieve stress, ease illness, energize our bodies, and calm our minds. You will blend essential oils using recipes that have been in use for centuries. How and where to find the most effective essential oils will also be covered. You will leave class able to create effective blends for yourself, friends, and family.

About the Instructor

Carolsue McCue designs herbal gardens and uses her harvest to enhance her own health as well as the health of family and friends for many years. Along with her practical work and extensive research, she has studied with Steven Margolis, M.D./herbalist, Nicholas Gonzalez, M.D./herbalist, Bear Tribe Society, British Institute of Homeopathy, and M’sieur Ecofay Pharmace in Geneva, Switzerland. Ms. McCue is a member of Michigan Herb Associates and Ontario Herbalists Association of Canada. She has won Yard-Of-The-Year several times in Port Huron, Michigan for her expansive herb and heirloom perennial gardens. She owns The Herb Cottage Gift Shop in Port Huron, Michigan and The Herb Cottage Bed & Breakfast in Montour Falls, New York.
