Class Description

Officer Michael Covarrubias and his partners from the Mt. Pleasant City Police Department will teach basic self-defense tactics for women in this class. Topics will include learning self-awareness, situational recognition, pre-planning, and self-defense tactics. The primary focus of this session is to build confidence by recognizing common situations to help manage risk.

Instructor

Officer Michael Covarrubias

Officer Michael Covarrubias is a police officer with over 23 years of experience with the Mount Pleasant Police Department and an 8 year military veteran. Officer Covarrubias is a defensive tactics instructor and trains police officers and police cadets in defensive tactics.
