Class Description
This class will teach you the skills every beginning knitter should learn. You will learn how to cast your yarn on and off your needles, the knit stitch, the purl stitch, and how to weave in your ends once your project is finished. This is the perfect class for a brand new knitter wishing to learn the basics and perhaps wishing to advance to our Learn to Knit Socks class. Upon successful class completion you will have a finished dishcloth and the knowledge to continue the art of knitting. An optional supply package is available to purchase for $6 as well. If you wish to shop on your own, a supply list is provided below.

- One ball or 100 yards of 100% cotton yarn
- US size 8 straight knitting needles
Learn to Knit Socks

Class Description
Learn to Knit Socks is an intermediate knitter level course – please be sure you are knowledgeable in how to cast on and off your needles, knit and purl stitches, and how to weave in your end in advance to signing up for this class. We will cover basic sock anatomy and the construction of socks. This course will move quickly with some homework and assigned knitting to be completed at home in between each session. Upon successful completion of this class, you will have a pair of socks (sure to impress!) and the knowledge to continue the art of sock knitting! An optional supply package is available to purchase for $15 as well. If you wish to shop on your own, a supply list is provided below.

- 100 gram sock yarn - pre wound into 2 50 gram balls
- US size 2 40" circular needle
