Class Description

Join Coach Alina to learn how to make wellness a life-long habit by discovering the Four Pearls of Wellness that you hold within you: Nutrition, Movement, Mindfulness, and Stress Management. These pearls are key to strengthening your immune system. You will engage in group activities and leave with practical tips, handouts, and measurable goals. Come for the entire series, or enroll in the class that sparks your interest the most.

January 10 Simple Meal Planning

Tired of being caught hungry, unprepared, and reaching for the first thing that you find in your pantry or on your counters? If yes, then It’s time to learn how to prepare simple meals so you don’t give in to the temptation of “I eat what I see.” You will learn to prepare and cook meals that follow a healthy balance of protein, fats, and nutrient-dense carbs, prepare healthy snacks for traveling, and stock staple foods in your freezer and pantry.

January 17 Marvelous Movement

Learn about the surprising impact that prolonged sitting has on your body and mind, and discover simple ways to move more at work, home, or when you travel. Engage in simple stretches and discover your marvelous movements. Pick up a few strategies to make your movement routine stick.

January 24 Mindful Eating

Do you know that how you eat is as important as what you eat? Join us to learn what emotional eating is and how to recognize it. Discover a simple way to turn on your full digestive power. Learn the seven strategies to eat mindfully and implement a new meal ritual. We will have a fun mindful eating exercise with samples provided and a game to take home.

January 31 Keep Calm and Carry On

Do you feel that your life is so hectic that it is almost impossible to unwind? Join us to learn about what stress does to your body and how to recognize it. Leave with clear strategies that help calm your body and mind. We will engage in a fun activity that will certainly brighten your day!

Alina Warner is a Certified Health Coach through the Health Coach Institute. She is the founder and owner of Wellness Within You, a health coaching practice in Midland, MI. Alina has an MBA from University of Iowa and 15 years of Project and Program Management experience. She left the corporate world to pursue her life’s dream to make our community healthier one person at a time. Alina is a master of habit change who helps people unlock their health potential, boost their energy, and lose weight through nutrition, movement, and stress management. She has successfully coached clients to adopt healthy habits for a lifetime by providing the right tools, offering continuous support, and holding them accountable to their goals.
