Class Description
Week 1 | Naked Cake
- Students will learn leveling, piping, filling, and how to crumb coat a cake… tada...a naked cake.
Week 2 | Fully Frosted Cake
- Students will repeat the skills they acquired in Week 1 and also learn how to frost a cake like a professional. You will learn basic piping and if time permits buttercream roses and writing.
Week 3 | Geode Cake
- Students will repeat what they discovered in the previous classes and learn how to carve and design a cake. You will be sent home with homework to prepare for your final class.
Week 4 | Design Your Own Cake Competition
- Students will learn what goes into cake making and if you choose, you can compete in a friendly cake competition.
All supplies, including cakes, frosting, tips, bags, and tools will be provided.
Students will take home their work each week.
One recommended item, but not a necessity, each student should bring with them is a cake turntable.
