Mid Michigan Community College Community Theatre has announced the cast for their production of The Good Doctor by Neil Simon, which will be directed by MMCC Theatre Instructor, Brent Donahue.
The Good Doctor is a Broadway hit by author Neil Simon that portrays a number of Anton Chekhov’s stories. The vignettes range in scope and theme: a feisty old woman storms a bank and upbraids the manager; a father takes his son to a house where he will be initiated into the mysteries of sex but changes his mind at the last moment; a crafty seducer goes to work on a wedded woman, only to realize that the woman has been in command from the beginning; a man offers to drown himself for three rubles.
Matinee performances are November 3, 5, 10, 12 at 2:00 p.m. with an optional luncheon at 12:00 p.m. Ticket prices are $22 for the luncheon and show or $10 for the show only. Evening performances are November 13 and 14 at 7:00 p.m. Ticket prices are $10 for adults and $5 for children 12 years and under.
