Mid Michigan Community College recently signed three local student-athletes to their Lakers athletic roster.

Victoria Ivey (Beaverton) is joining the Laker’s Women’s Bowling Team this coming fall. Victoria has been an honor roll student throughout high school, and has earned athletic achievements at the conference, regional, and state levels of competition with a second place finish at this year’s state finals.

“I plan to study business and Spanish while attending Mid, and look forward to becoming part of the bowling team,” shared Ivey.

Jake Pryor (Clare) plans to continue his competitive passion for bowling at Mid. Jason becomes a Laker this coming fall, and plans to take general education courses before transferring to a four-year college or university.

Natalie Lewandowski (Harrison) is also joining the Laker’s Women’s Bowling Team this coming fall. Natalie has been an honor roll student, National Honors Society member, and earned her academic varsity letter while at Harrison High School. She was also honored as her team’s MVP and was awarded first team all-conference.

“I plan to study radiography while attending Mid, and look forward to becoming part of the bowling team,” shared Lewandowski.

“These student-athletes are a perfect example of how hard work in and out of the classroom pays off,” stated Mid’s Athletic Director Ryan Harkrader.

Currently, Mid supports six NJCAA teams: men’s basketball, women’s basketball, men’s cross country, women’s cross country, and men’s and women’s bowling. Baseball and softball are set to join the roster in spring 2019. Recruitment for next year is underway. Interested athletes can get more information and complete a Player Information Form at midmich.edu/athletics.
