Championship Points Series

About the Sweat Shaker Mountain Bike Race

The Sweat Shaker is part of the MMBA Championship Point Series, but features divisions for every ability level. Come out and enjoy one of Michigan's best mountain bike trails on the Harrison Campus of Mid Michigan College. It's set in a beautiful forest with massive trees and rolling hills. This trail sports some long, gentle climbs (a few not so gentle) and holds up well to rain. A nice combination of mostly fast flowing trails, some tighter technical areas and a couple short sections of hilly two tracks. This course will be challenging and fun for all racers.

Proceeds benefit the maintenance and improvement of Mid’s recreational facilities.

The Michigan Mountain Biking Association (MMBA) promotes responsible mountain biking and works toward the goals of common land access and natural resource protection. The MMBA Championship Point Series (CPS) is Michigan’s premier grassroots racing series. The CPS race series attracts all levels of racers from the first-timer to national and world champions.

Visit the MMBA CPS website for more information and check out the rules.

PARKING

Parking is free. Parking will be available on the front lawn (look for the signs on your right). Front Lawn Parking is ideal - especially if you plan on leaving the event before the race concludes. You can also park in the main lot and if the main lot is full, please continue on the main drive for additional parking. If you park in a lot and leave before the conclusion of the race you may be delayed as the course crosses the drive and we have to ensure the safety of the racers.
