Mid Michigan College participated in the 2020 Michigan Collegiate Voting Challenge. As one of the 34 campuses across Michigan who joined the Challenge, the College made efforts to engage and empower Mid students to register to vote and continue voting in upcoming elections.

2020 Election Statistics

  • This was an increase of 18.7% from the 2016 election.

Voter Registration Rate > 85.8%

  • Mid's rate exceeded the national average, as well as our 2020 institutionalization plan goal of 65%.

Voting Rate Average > 67.5%

  • This result fell below Mid's goal of 75%, but for the first time Mid exceeded the national voting rate average of 56% for community colleges!
