Mid is conducting a Tornado/Shelter-in-Place drill on the Mt. Pleasant Campus. Everyone on campus during the drill is required to participate, leave their classroom and/or work location, proceed to designated shelter areas, and remain in place until an ‘All Clear’ is issued by College Administration. Yellow ‘Shelter in Place’ signage is located throughout campus locations and denotes areas where it is safe to take shelter; shelter locations are also indicated on Emergency Maps. These maps are located in classrooms, office areas, and are available for review below.

Emergency Modes

Individuals should become familiar with the various emergency security modes and procedures in place at Mid Michigan College.

In the event of a building evacuation, use the nearest EXIT and move at least 150 feet from the building.

Do not re-enter the building until instructed by Emergency Personnel, Mid Michigan College Administration, or an ALL CLEAR message through MidAlert!.
