Paying for college doesn't have to be complicated, and we're here to help.

First of all, two years at Mid saves students $15,500* in tuition vs. the average of Michigan public universities. You're on your way to savings. But, most of Mid's students receive financial aid to offset their college costs even further.

Options for aid include federal funding, like grants or loans, or Mid scholarships. Mid also employs many student workers through both College funding and the Federal Work Study Program.

Scholarships

Through one online application, you can sign up for all of our scholarships. Scholarship applications are open from October 1 through March 15 of each year.

Federal Aid

Your aid package will be determined based on your FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid), which you can fill out at StudentAid.gov. Mid's School Code is 006768.

Work Study and Student Employment

We employ many student workers at Mid in positions from facilities and grounds maintenance to assistants, ambassadors, and bookstore clerks. Students in these roles earn a regular paycheck while working shifts that accommodate their College schedules. All students can apply for student worker jobs.

Out-District Tuition: $229/contact hour
International Tuition: $396/contact hour

2022-2023 Tuition Costs:

In-District and Dual Enrollees Tuition: $142/contact hour
Out-District Tuition: $237/contact hour
International Tuition: $410/contact hour
