Who?
- College NOW! is for first-time college students. Students who have dual enrolled (taken college courses during high school) are also eligible.
What?
College NOW! is free for students and a completed FAFSA is not required, but we'll be available to help you complete the FAFSA as you prepare for the Fall 2024 semester.
- College NOW! allows students to
- Complete an English course or a Math course for FREE!
- All tuition, fees, course materials, and textbook costs are paid for at no cost to students.
- Receive individualized support focused on academic advising, career counseling, and college readiness.
- College NOW! Perks
- Students have all tuition, fees, and course-related costs waived.
- Students receive a backpack with a laptop*, school supplies, and a $100 gift card.
- BIG PERK! Enroll for 12 or more credits in Mid's Fall 2024 semester and keep your laptop!
Where?
- Students attend College NOW! on the Mt. Pleasant Campus and complete coursework online.
When?
- Students must attend the college readiness session 8am-10am (continental breakfast included) and the first day of courses face-to-face, on-campus 10am - Noon June 11/12.
- Mt. Pleasant Campus | Community Room
- Courses continue online through August 9.
How?
- STEP 1 Interested students must apply to Mid Michigan College, even if they have previously attended.
- STEP 2 Meet with your Mid Mentor and register for one of the following courses.
- Starting Tuesday, June 11
- ENG.110, MAT.104, MAT.124
- Starting Wednesday, June 12
- ENG.112, MAT.105, MAT.212
Questions?
*Laptops must be returned to Library & Learning Services no later than August 31, 2024. If a student enrolls in 12 or more credits for the Fall 2024 semester, ownership of the laptop will transfer to the student in September.
