Our Transfer Degrees have been designed in consideration of the requirements at many four-year colleges and universities. These degrees allow students to easily transfer and maximize the number of credits students will receive at their choice of four-year institutions.

Our transfer advisors assist students in selecting which courses within a transfer degree work best for the particular program and institution that the student plans to attend after MMCC.

Michigan Transfer Agreement (MTA)

The MTA is an excellent way to begin a college career at Mid and feel assured that your credits will transfer easily.

The Michigan Transfer Agreement (MTA) is an agreement between all public community colleges in Michigan, its 15 public universities, and a number of its participating tribal and private colleges and universities. Students who successfully complete the MTA’s minimum of 30 semester hours, which includes coursework in six specific categories, will fulfill 30 semester hours of the lower-division general education requirements at participating colleges or universities.
