Regarding Continuing Education

Program Details:

  • Program courses are sequential and must be completed in the semesters offered.
  • Students must complete all first-semester courses with a grade of "C" (minimum GPA of 2.0) or better to progress to the second semester.
  • Students must complete all program courses with a grade of "C" (minimum GPA of 2.0) or better in order to complete this program.
  • Students must possess a valid high school diploma or GED by the end of the program.
  • Completion of a satisfactory physical examination. The student is responsible for the cost of the physical examination.

Proof of the following immunizations must be made available to the program director:

  • Negative 2- step (TB) tuberculosis test. A TB test is only good for 1 year.
  • Hepatitis B injections (at least 1st shot) or signed waiver
  • Proof of MMR (No waiver can be given; you must have proof of Rubeola (Measles) & Rubella (German measles) vaccination or a titer for each.
  • Varicella (Chicken Pox) or had disease
  • Tetanus
  • CPR certification is required before beginning PHT 115. The cost of the CPR course is at the students expense.
  • Random Drug Testing is required before beginning PHT 115. The cost of the drug screening is at the students expense.
