Many CNAs go on to earn nursing or other health professional credentials. Jobs for CNAs are in high demand. Mid's CNA program trains students to provide direct care in residential care or hospital settings.
You need to complete all three of the forms below and submit payment before you are fully registered for CNA training. Acceptance into the training depends on passing a background check.
These 6-8 week trainings are divided into two parts. Classroom activities/skill practice time in the laboratory and supervised clinical practice at an area health care agency.
PART ONE (80 Hours) Classroom education and lab skills at the Harrison or Mt. Pleasant Campus of Mid Michigan College
PART TWO (40 Hours) Clinical training at a local healthcare facility

An employed CNA, working in a Medicare or Medicaid participating facility, that incurred the costs of training can be reimbursed $1,100 by their employer. For more information about reimbursement, you can visit the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services website.
