Google Apps Suite

An integrated suite of secure, cloud-native collaboration and productivity apps powered by Google AI. Includes Gmail, Docs, Drive, Calendar, Meet and more.

What do I need to do?

All students and employees automatically have a Mid Mich Email (Google) account created for them. It is your username@midmich.edu. You will, however, need to set up a password before you can access your Mid Mich Email.

What will I get?

Gigabytes of email storage. No more worries about having to delete mail.
Instant messaging from within your mailbox and free computer-to-computer voice calls.
Google Calendar to schedule meetings, create events, and share calendars with others.
Google Docs to create and share documents, spreadsheets, and presentations online.
Access to your information from anywhere with an internet connection. Be it from your desktop/laptop or a mobile device.

Office 365

Microsoft Office programs (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) are available to Mid students for use on up to 5 devices for FREE! All you need is the computer, tablet, or phone you wish to install on, and your username and password.

Step 1: Go to https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/education/products

Step 2: On the "Get started for free" button.

Step 3: Enter your @midmich.edu email address and click Sign Up.

Step 4: Sign up using your Mid Mich Email and password if you so choose.

Step 5: Click "OK, got it"

Step 6: Click on Install if you are on a PC or Mac, or Set up mobile apps if you are on a tablet or a phone.

Step 7: Enjoy!

Applications included are Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Software Available for Specific Programs-Related Use

Azure Dev Tools

(CIS programming students/faculty only)

Provides tools to departments, faculty, and students to expand their study of software development and testing. These tools include such technologies as Platform SDK, SQL Server, Visual Studio .NET, and Windows Server.

Software for CAD Students

(CAD students/faculty only)
