What is Progress Advising?
Progress Advisors are a team of advisors specifically trained in academic and financial aid issues and committed to helping students reach their educational goals. Part of their function involves working with students to help them understand what they must do to maintain financial aid eligibility. Students who fail to complete a certain percentage of their attempted credits, maintain a certain grade point average, or have attempted too many credits for a particular program of study are referred to a Progress Advisor. Progress Advisors also assist students who receive academic alerts from their instructor, as well as those facing academic or personal challenges.
