Career Services Coach

Amy has enjoyed and found great satisfaction working with and mentoring students in higher education since 2011. She has a Ph.D. in psychology from Central Michigan University with an emphasis in personality. As part of the MMCC community, she is passionate about helping students find success in their academic and career pursuits. In her role as Career Coach, she looks forward to getting to know each student, understanding their individual backgrounds, and aiding in the process of focusing their personal goals. Her aim is to provide the most effective mentoring possible to ensure students’ success while at MMCC and afterwards. In her free time, Amy enjoys spending time with her husband, reading mystery stories, and long distance running.

Director of Internships & TRiO Grant

In her role as Director, Mary brings years of experience to the Career Center including former work in student service areas assisting students with advising, financial aid, career outlook, job search, and worksite placement.Mary’s strong background in Human Resources/Employment, talent for writing, proofreading, and editing employment related documents enhances her ability to help prepare students for work after or during college. Mary is delighted to share her expertise in resume and cover letter writing, interview techniques, professional attire, communication skills, and solid work ethics to help students acquire the edge they need to complete in today’s job market.
