Official Course Description

This course introduces students to the social sciences and their unique perspectives on the human experience. The course will focus on the role of the social sciences in both America and the wider world. Students will apply the social sciences to a social problem in their community by completing a service learning project. Prerequisites: ENG.111 and either COM.101 or COM.257. (Minimum grade of "C" in each.)
