Official Course Description

This lab is coordinated with the lectures presented in Modalities II. Students participate in guided practice of safe and effective delivery of electrotherapeutic agents. The students use a variety of modalities for decreasing pain, increasing strength, reducing edema/swelling, and muscle spasm relief. Documentation skills are reinforced. Prerequisites: PTA.125, 126, 130, 131 & 140 Corequisites: PTA.205, 207 & 208
