Official Course Description

This course provides an in depth review of functional human anatomy with an emphasis on the neuro-musculoskeletal system. Students will develop an understanding of normal and abnormal movement patterns and gait. A thorough understanding of kinesiology is essential to the Physical Therapist Assistant in understanding pathologies and injuries and providing appropriate and effective treatment for their patients. Prerequisites: Admission into the Program Corequisites: PTA.105, 106, 110, 111 & 116
