Official Course Description

This course explores the physiological and non-physiological artifacts found in routine EEG recordings. Students will discuss the factors that contribute to artifacts and troubleshoot the ways to eliminate them. Topics will include impedance and common mode rejection (CMR). (This course will be completed through Michigan Colleges Online.) Prerequisites: EEG.100, EEG.101, EEG.102, EEG.120, EEG.130, EEG.131, EEG.132. Corequisites: EEG.200, EEG.202, EEG.220.
