Official Course Description

Introduces the student to the fundamental concepts of systems analysis and design. The role of the systems analyst and the training and skills required to function in this position are presented. Special emphasis is placed upon both written and oral communication skills. The life cycle concept and its application to business systems are discussed. Structured design techniques are emphasized. Prerequisites: CIS.125, CIS.131, or CIS.175
