Official Course Description

This course covers relational database concepts and tools focused in an Oracle environment. Specifically, relational database concepts (rows, tables, and keys), table creation/modification (DDL and SQL), PL/SQL, forms, reports, and database administration tasks are presented. In-class work will consist of 1 1/2 hours of lecture followed by 1 1/2 hours of practical application. Required software is available on computers at the college; if students wish to complete assignments at home; they will need to procure the correct software. Prerequisite: CIS.100
