Advance Product Quality Planning & Production Part Approval Process
APQP/PPAP is a 1-day (8-hour course) intended to provide an understanding of the requirements of Advance Product Quality Planning and the Production Part Approval Process in ISO/TS 16949:2009. Participants can expect to be fully engaged while learning this process approach to implementing, maintaining, auditing and improving a quality planning process.

Course Objectives:
As a result of this course participants should be able to:
- Define APQP/PPAP and explain how it is used to ensure that customer requirements are understood and effectively used to improve product quality
- Compare and contrast design and process FMEA’s
- Assess a suppliers quality performance based on PPAP
- Prepare for an audit of a quality planning process and identify key metrics used by auditors to determine process effectiveness
