Instructor
Jackie Justice has been a professional writer, editor, and publisher for over 20 years. Currently, she is a full-time faculty member with Mid's English/Humanities department after teaching with Kalamazoo Valley Community College, Chippewa Valley Technical College, and University of Maryland Global Campus. She started researching the effects of writing as a form of healing about 10 years ago while teaching writing to adults with autism and to inpatient Veterans with PTSD. No matter what needs to be healed, writing can help. In addition to pen and paper, Jackie adds her decade of exercise teaching experience to enhance the process, including easy elements of tai chi, qi gong, and ai chi. Her goal is to have writers at every level come, listen, share, move, breathe, write, breathe, and heal.
