Course Description

Learn the delicate art of pyrography, commonly known as wood burning, in this lifelong learning class at Mid. You’ll discover the tools, processes, and techniques to bring your creations to life. From transferring a pattern to shading with different tips, temperatures, and application angles, this class gives you the skills to enjoy this hobby for years to come. All supplies and equipment are provided. Simply bring your enthusiasm!

This class is appropriate for ages 15 and up.

About the Instructor

David Sanderson has a strong background in the field of art and is an accomplished pyrography artist. He has taught for both Hobby Lobby and Michaels Arts and Crafts, was voted Artist of the Year from the Michigan Wood Carvers Association for three years, and has many other outstanding accomplishments.
