Are you new to mountain biking or considering a new bike?
Looking for a way to stay/get in shape, have fun and meet new people?
Do you like a challenge, exploring and the outdoors?
This clinic will give you a general overview of mountain biking with information on types of mountain bikes, trails, equipment, websites, where to ride, trends and buying advice. Ask questions and discuss all things mountain biking. The only requirement is an interest in mountain biking.
Steve has lived in the Clare area for 21 years and is an avid mountain biker with over 30 years of experience. He has made it a goal to ride every singletrack trail in Michigan and is close to achieving it while also riding many trails in other states. He has helped build and maintain singletrack trails throughout the state and has been a board member for Central Michigan Mountain Bike Association for two years. His engineering education and experience may provide for some, a more analytical take on the mountain biking scene.
