May 14, 2015 — Beaverton Rural Schools has been approved by the State of Michigan to run an Early College Program beginning in the 2015-2016 school year. By attending a fifth year of high school, Early College students will be able to earn an associates degree through Mid Michigan Community College while they also earn their high school diplomas. Apr 30, 2015 — The Mid Michigan Community College Foundation raised nearly $100,000 at its 14th annual fundraiser, A Northern Tradition at Jay’s Sporting Goods. A Northern Tradition is the Foundation’s biggest fundraiser. In fourteen years, it has raised over $1.3 Million. Continue reading
Apr 21, 2015 — On Friday, March 27, 2015 Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society inducted 80 new members into the Alpha Omicron Omicron Chapter at Mid Michigan Community College. To join the honor society, students must have a 3.5 Grade Point Average or higher and have completed at least 12 credit hours at MMCC. Continue reading

Feb 17, 2015 — Fifty years ago, through conversations across Clare and Gladwin Counties, community members identified a need to expand the higher education offerings in the mid-Michigan area. As a result of those conversations, a Study Committee comprised of school administrators and citizens embarked on determining the feasibility of creating and sustaining a local community college. Jan 9, 2015 — The employees at Mid Michigan Community College took time again this year to help area children have a merry Christmas. The employees hosted a Christmas party for 60 children from Clare and Gladwin Counties, complete with Santa and presents donated by MMCC faculty and staff. Continue reading

The College will be closed on Fridays from May 9-July 29. Operating hours have been extended to 7:30am to 5:00pm, Monday through Thursday. These new operating hours extend availability throughout the week while also providing cost savings due to the extended shutdown of lighting and air conditioning.
Many services (including registration and payment) are available at midmich.edu. Students can access self-service options through MyMid (midmich.edu/mymid).
Some operations, activities, and courses may still occur in the evenings and on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday. Students with questions about course schedules, clinicals, or due dates should contact their faculty.
