Welding Short-Term Training

Mid's Welding Short-Term Training is intended to introduce the necessary fundamental skills required for those interested in a welding career. This 120-hour program provides entry-level skills in safety practices, blueprint reading and welding symbols, and basic MIG welding. This training includes a combination of classroom instruction and hands-on practical experience.

Drone Remote Pilot Knowledge Test Prep

Keep up with changing Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) requirements to remain ahead of the curve among commercial drone pilots. Anyone operating a drone for any commercial or business purpose must obtain an FAA remote pilot certification. This highly focused course prepares you for the test to receive this certification.

Intro to Drones for Public Safety Personnel

Small Unmanned Aircraft Systems (drones) have unique implications for public safety personnel. Drones can put eyes and ears on the ground and in the air in scenarios that would be impenetrable or life-threatening to personnel. This technology has the potential to extend your team’s abilities while improving the safety of everyone involved in an emergency. This 24-hour course is comprehensive, hands-on training that helps translate this potential into action by providing information that impacts public safety and empowers you to make informed decisions during the planning stage – when you have the chance to maximize your return on investment.

Intro to Small Unmanned Aircraft Systems (sUAS) Drones **Located in Huron County**

This 18-hour, comprehensive, hands-on training course gives students all the vital skills and information needed to start piloting drones safely and legally. Topics include safety best practices, piloting skills, types of flight systems, their capabilities, and which types are best suited for specific uses, drone photography & videography skills, how drones can be used in business and industry applications, and how to apply drone technology to increase efficiency. This class is designed to prepare students to successfully pass the remote pilot knowledge test and achieve FAA remote pilot certification.

Project Management Training

This Project Management workshop gives participants an overview of the entire project management process, as well as key project management tools that they can use every day. Through this training, participants gain the skills to work successfully with project planning documents, needs assessments, risk management plans, and communication plans to bring results and positive outcomes to their organizations.

Project Management Professional Certification

This intensive exam preparation course provides participants with the knowledge needed to pass the Project Management Institute’s (PMI®’s) Project Management Professional Examination (PMP® exam). Our workshop is kept up to date with the framework of knowledge outlined by the Project Management Institute’s PMBOK® Guide. The instructors (PMP® certified) share test-taking tips, study strategies, and review of critical materials that assist participants in passing the PMP® exam. The course includes a comprehensive workbook and a sample examination.
