The Mid Michigan Community College (MMCC) Harrison Campus was filled with laughter during performances of the most recent production, The Odd Couple, by Neil Simon.
Brent Donahue directed this classic comedy, with students, faculty, and community members performing. Over 500 guests attended throughout six performances—making this production a very successful endeavor.
The Theatre Department was thrilled to share this performance with many community members, students, faculty, family and friends. Lucy Andarcia, MMCC Foreign Language Faculty, attended with a group of international students, who met with the cast after the show. Current MMCC biology class students were able to see their instructor, Kevin Allen, perform as Felix Unger. Many other students and theatre supporters attended in support of their friends who graced the MMCC stage.
The show could not have succeeded without the support and help from numerous people: Carol Darlington, Tena Diamond, Stacy Carlstrom, Meghan Keen, Peter DeRoche, Greg Gunther, Heidi Rocha and the CTE Students, Tina Burch, Becky Nalevayko, and everyone else who helped to make the production a success.
“We thank all of those who attended or helped behind the scenes for their continued support of Theatre Arts at MMCC,” noted Yvette Keast, MMCC Theatre Producer. “The theatre team is looking forward to our Fall Semester’s mystery-themed performance.”
