Registration for Mid Michigan College’s fall semester, which begins August 24, is happening now!
“On-campus and online courses offer flexible scheduling options for our students and, even though we’re nearing the start of the fall semester, there is still plenty of space available to meet student needs,” said Karry Kiste-Toner, Director of Student Mentoring and Retention at Mid.“It’s important that students attend orientation, apply for financial aid, and register as soon as possible so we can help them prepare for success.”
At Mid, students now get more individualized attention than ever before. All incoming students are paired with a Mid Mentor who guides them through the registration process and works one-on-one with them throughout their journey at Mid. This personalized approach includes assisting students in course selection and creating an educational pathway based on each student’s individual goals.
“Mid offers career-ready and transfer programs and pathways that provide students with the opportunity to earn industry-recognized certifications and realize significant savings as they begin their education,” noted Kiste-Toner.“On average, students save $12,000-$18,000 when they begin their bachelor degree by attending Mid for the first two years.”
This fall Mid is also offering additional opportunities in new locations across the mid-Michigan region. A selection of courses, programs and pathways, and training opportunities are being offered in Bad Axe, Caro, Big Rapids, and Alpena.
"This expansion of services reflects Mid's commitment to providing access to affordable educational opportunities throughout mid-Michigan," noted Kiste-Toner.
