Since 1999, the employees at Mid Michigan College have supplied Christmas presents for at least 60 children each year from Clare and Gladwin counties through partnerships with Gladwin’s Christmas Kindness and Clare County Department of Health & Human Services. Mid employees sponsor selected children by purchasing wished-for gifts and needed items.

Gifts are purchased, collected on campus, and then delivered by community partners, including Matt Schafer, Owner of Ace Hardware of Clare.

“I was happy to help deliver the gifts so generously given by Mid employees,” shared Schafer. “The College has been a longtime community partner and we value their support.”

“This effort showcases the high regard in which the College holds community connections and the excellent results that can be achieved when teams across the College collaborate,” noted Tim Hood, President of Mid Michigan College.

Mid is proud to be one of many community organizations that support children and families during the holiday season.
