Each year Michigan’s SBDC network gathers with clients, team members, and guests to learn, network, and recognize each other for their work assisting Michigan small businesses to succeed.
The 2022 Awards Celebration included peer-nominated awards for individuals recognized as going above and beyond expectations, with Tony Fox, Regional Director for Mid-Michigan, being named the Regional Director of the Year.
“Tony was nominated by team members from around the state,” said J.D. Collins, State Director of Michigan SBDC. “Tony’s willingness to embrace change, and encouragement of others to do likewise, gets those around him to grow. He leads by example and always does the right thing for our clients.”
The Michigan Small Business Development Center provides no-cost consulting, business education, market research, and technology commercialization to new and existing businesses throughout Michigan’s 83 counties.
The SBDC mid-Michigan regional office is located on Mid Michigan College’s Mt. Pleasant Campus, where Tony Fox is an active member of the campus and local communities.
“We’re proud to have Tony as a vital member of our team here at Mid,” shared Tim Hood, President of Mid Michigan College. “Our partnership with the SBDC is a key element in the College’s work to support local businesses and we plan to continue to expand the services and support that we offer.”
